 Post subject: Introducing the Moorgard Index v2.0 (Comment thread) Posted: Wed Jan 21, 2004 04:19 am |

I've just finished up rebuilding the Moorgard Index. The old version was getting pretty tough to update due to the size of each post and the lack of smaller categories. Hopefully I've added some things in there that will help all of you guys that use it to search through old posts. The links embedded in each category heading should be particularly useful. I've also included every one of Moorgard's posts this time around. Last time several had to be removed due to redundancy and space limitations.
If you've got any questions/suggestions/comments about how we can make things more useful to you, feel free to let me know in this thread. |

Whenever I click on one of the links, it opens a new window. Is there a way I can remedy that?

I'm going to work on that soon (as soon as I have time to figure out how to do it on the boards, that is). That's the next project. |

I've got free time that I don't mind using to help the site... but not that much free time

| The link will be working again in a few minutes. Blackguard and I shut the Index down for a little while to move it into its own forum. Now each topic heading is split into a separate post, which should make it much much easier to load. Now all you have to do is open up the main index page (stickied in the Moorgard Index forum) and click which section you want to look at. That should be much easier. |

I'll do that when I get them updated. It should be easier to see this time. New posts by Moorgard will just mean a new post by me, since I don't have to go back and edit all the posts. |

| Another update, I'm about halfway done changing the url tags over to html so that when you open a link it stays in the same window. The whole index page is taken care of. I'm about halfway done with the rest of the posts. |

He tried this with the old Moorgard catch all threads once, but it failed to destroy the universe. We can only hope this is a similar situation. |
