Becoming a Bard

Guy you need is in N.Qeynos in the woods near the tavern/stables

He wants you to kills asps in forest ruins.. so go to the forest ruins (through eldar grove and then willow woods) they are straight and to the left in the rocks in front of the castle

Next he wants you to insult a bard... the bard is in N.Qeynos near fountain... which is the pentagon on the overhead map.

Now you must kill spiders to the back-left of the castle in forest ruins

This is where it gets difficult.. he asks you to Deliver message to Acton in Antonica... he is at a covered bridge... difficult to locate... south east from the N.Qeynos zoneline.... just follow the road. Save your sprint for when you have aggro.

Now if you pick bard he tells you to save bard in S.Qeynos... it's in the southern most row of buildings... there is one building separate from the others in that row... it's in an alley to the side of it.
*** It's a solo fight... and very easy. I attacked the pirate captain first while standing alongside the endangered bard not sure if that saved me extra aggro or not.

Becoming a Troubador

Now you wait until about lvl 18... there is a Halfling on the docks named Arrell Silvertounge or something like that... not near the mariner bell... on the other side near the carpentors... right near where the ramp into the water is.

Talk to him... he will send you to BlackBurrow (BB) to "look for clues" what he really means is... run through the brewery like an idiot.

To get the the BB brewery enter BB... take the 2nd tunnel on the left using your fairly new faster sneak skill. Go to where you see the waterfall and jump into the water... yeah it's a long way down. BTW... I hope you have Call of Qeynos ready.

Anyway there is an underwater tunnel... go through it and hug the right hand wall.. pop up on the surface and you are looking at the brewery.

There is a see-invis mob usually on the left... he saw me... I hope he doesn't see you... but I came up on the left hand side not the right so I kinda didn't see him until I was in aggro range.

Run as fast as your new sneak allows to the back... you will get quest credit... turn around and run back to the water get into a safe spot and use call of qeynos...

** IF YOU GET AGGRO.... RUN TO THE WATER AND INTO THE TUNNEL... it's easy enough to get your soul shard from that tunnel... it's not easy if you die IN the brewery. You can also exit BB from near the brewery but it brings you out into a cave full of gnolls... if you are standing with your back to the water... the exit is on your right.

Go back and talk to the halfling who gave you the quest.

Part 2 send you to a get info about a secret meeting... this is also very easy.

Go back to the bottom row of buildings and check the doors in all the alleys like when you wanted to go to the fermented grape... one of them will now be clickable.. go in there...

Use stealth... nothing should see you EXCEPT behind the door on the 2nd floor.. so don't open it. And the gaurds that walk in circles on the 3rd... just use timing and walk around the "atrium" in circles behind them... like WAY behind them.

There are 3 bells you must ring.. one on each floor besides the 2nd... ring all 3.. go and open the door on the 2nd floor and click on the box on the table.

Talk to the halfling and you will be a troubador... your reward is a 1-handed sword (not dual wield!!!)
